How do you get rid of blackheads? Ive tried a million things and im still looking for the answer....?

Well, the first thing is to make sure you are doing your daily routine for face care... cleanser, toner, moisturizer. Use a reputable brand that works for you. Clinique, Neutrogena, Proactiv %26amp; Yves Rocher are great brands that have worked for me and my close friends.

Also - use a mild exfoliator twice a week to slough off your dead skin cells. For pore extraction, after you come out of the shower (when your pores are more relaxed, go in front of the mirror, with either a blackhead extractor tool, or 2 pieces of kleenex (one for each hand), and gently remove your blackheads. If you have many, make sure to remove maybe 70-80% in your first session....because if you do have many, and you extract them ALL...you do run the risk of damaging your skin more than helping it. You can always wait a few days and remove the rest...to give your skin a break.

Now, I've personally started going to a facialist once every 6 weeks, and she does the blackhead extraction herself. I find that having somebody else do it makes sure that they are all removed... she uses this magnifying glass, so she can see ALL my blackheads, and remove them professionally. She just does it better than I do... :)

I have used the Bior茅 Pore Strips in the past, and they did work well... moreso just on the small blackheads...they weren't able to get out the bigger ones.

Anyways - hope this advice helps out. Take care. How do you get rid of blackheads? Ive tried a million things and im still looking for the answer....?
biore strips usually do the trick for me...or a topical solution

be sure to wash your face day and night and moisturize it as well. You may need a new cleanser (a sensitive skin one perhaps), and if you wear foundation, powder, blush, etc., you should give it a rest for a couple of weeks and see how much clearer your skin will get.How do you get rid of blackheads? have you tried the pore strips?? If not, dont. I have heard that all it does is cause the pores to get filled with more bacteria once you pull the initial black head out. So that could be what happend if you have already used them. However, I wouldnt necessarily say not to ever use them...if you decide too...make sure you close your pores by using cold water after you are done, to prevent them from getting filled again.

Good luck.
wash your face with a semi abrasive cleanser once to twice a day.

use a poor strip at least twice a week.

exfoliate twice a week.

use a toner every day.

moisturize with an oil free moisturizer.

don't touch your face with your hands as much.

and don't try to pick at it... thats the worst thing you could do.
Make shure you take a hot shower and then there is this special treezer to canget it kind of scrapes your skin but it doesnt hurt at all.
