How to prevent blackheads?

I have had blackheads before on the sides of my nose, they are gone now but they are really disgusting.

What are good ways to like, prevent these?

I wipe the sides of nose with my shirt every so often to do whatever with the oil on there, does this help or make things worse? How to prevent blackheads?
Rubbing alcohol is too harsh for your skin. Clinique has a great 3 step skin care system. Their Pore Minimizer lotion is amazing and the toner in their 3 step is great! They have helped my skin out a lot. Definitely talk to one of their consultants so they can give you the right stuff for your skin. Hope it helps you too!How to prevent blackheads?
get a good face cleanser... Biore makes some great products that you can but at the local drug store...and those strips work awesome to remove them....
They are caused from blocked hair follicles and there are a lot of really good herbal treatments that are natural and much easier on your skin. My son used a lot of that harsh stuff like accutane and it was horrible for his face. I read a lot about the natural antioxidant treatments on this site. http://womans-health.net/acne/howitworks鈥?/a>

I hope this helps answer some of your questions.
Wash your face with rubbing alcohol as much as possible.
Cleanse your face with unboiled milk, gently rub a coarse cloth dipped in milk to remove the blackheads. Steam your face with herbs like lavender, lemon peel and mint leaves added to the water and let the skin soak up its goodness.
